Golf packages and courses

Golfing in Thailand is all about having fun, apart from the novelty of having female caddies other aspects of the game may appear strange at first. The six ball, sometimes known as the ‘Thai Crocodile’, is common where players will leave the green as soon as they hole out, teeing off at the next hole while the other players remain. Don’t expect a ‘silent’ game as there is a lot of noise on the course with mobile phones going off and the sound of conversation. This leads to a relaxed atmosphere in which the game is played.

Thai caddies are like a breath of fresh air in the golfing world, predominantly female they are smiling, helpful and very knowledgeable, they are there to advise you. You can have complete trust in your caddie who, it must be remembered, will know the greens well. More likely to advise on the yardage than the club she will be able to assess your ability quickly and advise accordingly. As well as keeping score she may well clean your shoes as well as your clubs at the end of the round. The suggested tip for a Thai caddie is 200 Baht but of course can be increased depending on service, although we’re sure you will be well satisfied with the standard.

Golf can be played all year round in Thailand and is an excellent place for beginners. The package is for weekdays. Weekend and public holiday games are available at additional cost. Each specific course can only be fully guaranteed at booking due to time requirements of some courses.
